This Global Information Exchange service provides a secured server that allows Participants to electronically post and exchange business transactions and other files in a very automated way.
How It Works
A communications program embedded in each application establishes a link between the desktop and the Mailbox Server. Transactions are passed from the desktop to the Mailbox Server and automatically routed to the recipient's private Inbox. The software locates, downloads and save recipient's mail to a target database during each Mailbox session.
The Mailbox is a dial-up "store and forward" server. This eliminates the need for you to provide other Participants access to your system. It provides a secure "middle-place" service for the exchange of business transactions between Buyer and Seller. The service can be extended to automatically create and route "carbon copies" for other users. Arrangements can be made to convert the file structure to match recipient needs.
User ID's, passwords, and Account Codes established in the software and service allow all participants to establish private Marketplace Exchange services (MPX) that exactly match their Supply Chain needs. A desktop search engine allows Buyers in one MPX to locate and add Suppliers from another MPX. The potential to advance Buyer and Seller links attracts trading partners to the digital arena quickly, and at a fraction of the typical investment in technology and staff and results in:
Product validation that reduces stock returns and credits.
- More voluntary E-business connections.
- Transparent business methods that clarify workflow.
- Simplified and more cost effective business relationships.
- Reduced workflow between trading partners.
- New opportunities for Sellers when Buyers search for product and supplier information.
- Reduced redundant data entry.
- Elimination of time consuming and redundant image downloads.
